The most important aspect of slacklining is to find one focus spot in front of you to maintain the balance. It could be anything ranging from a sign on the tree to a banner or flag in front of you. It is advisable to not look at the slackline or your feet when in movement. In case looking at the slackline helps you balance your body then try looking some meters ahead at the slackline and maintain a distance as you walk.
